YMF Races Through Central Park in Annual Race to Deliver Print E-mail
On a beautiful autumn morning on Sunday, November 20th, members of the Met Section Younger Member Forum laced up their running shoes and ran through Central Park in the annual Race to Deliver. After the race, the participants went to a nearby restaurant to refuel and enjoy a well-deserved brunch.

Younger Members Help to Revitalize Jamaica's PS 48Q Print E-mail
On Saturday, October 15th, 2011, younger members from New York City and Long Island, as well as student members from Hofstra University, converged in Jamaica, Queens, to help revitalize PS 48Q, the William Wordsworth School. The volunteers had a fun, fulfilling and successful day planting bulbs, organizing books and painting a mural, all in an effort to enrich the learning environment for the students of PS 48Q.

YMF Makes Emergency Kits with God's Love We Deliver Print E-mail
On Sunday, July 10, 2011, the Met Section Younger Member Forum took part in the fun and successful Emergency "Black-out Box" project organized and sponsored by God's Love We Deliver (GLWD). GLWD is an organization that provides nutritious meals for individuals that are suffering from AIDS/HIV, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.

Younger Members Kick Off Summer with Rooftop BBQ Print E-mail
On Saturday, June 25th, the Younger Member Forum kicked off the start of the summer with a rooftop BBQ in East Village. Attendees enjoyed the sunny weather, food from the grill and conversation with friends and fellow civil engineers, all while enjoying the view of the Manhattan skyline.
