Call for Topics – 2008-2009 Season
Each year, the Structures Group sponsors several technical lectures and our Annual Spring Seminar. These lectures provide a forum for engineers and educators to present and discuss notable projects or topics of research and development. In addition to our four-night spring seminar which will consist of eight (8) lectures, we are planning four (4) technical lectures for the 2008-2009 season. And we need your help finding topics.
Has your company worked on an exciting project recently? Are you involved in some interesting research? If so, we want to know about it.
Each speaker is asked to submit the following documentation:
- Abstract for topic and brief bio of speaker with full name, title, initialized credentials, position and company name.
- The exact title of the presentation. The format should be similar to:
Design and Construction Issues of XYZ Bridge
David Smith, Ph.D., P.E., Project Manager, ABCD Consulting Engineers
- If possible, a line drawing or clear picture/photograph of the project described in the abstract.
