On April 21, 2007, a group of ASCE Younger Members and NYC College of Technology ASCE student chapter members participated at the 15th Annual Hands on New York Day along with 8,000 other volunteers, helping to revitalize parks and community gardens in New York City. This year, our group of ASCE members spent the Saturday volunteering at Jenny’s Garden in Riverside Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, helping with raking, weeding, mulching and wood chipping.
