To Subscribe to the Listserv

• Go to the Met Section listserv website.
• Type in the complete e-mail address that you want messages sent to.
• Type in a password or leave it blank (one can be automatically generated for you).
• Click on the Subscribe button.
• A confirmation message will be e-mailed to you, usually within a few minutes. This message will include a link that you should click on to complete the subscription process.

Notes:
If you are subscribing using an address at a major e-mail provider such as AOL, Hotmail, or Yahoo, you should additionally set your spam filter to allow e-mails from lists.asce.org.
In your subscription options, there is no need to turn on the "Set Digest Mode". The listserv is moderated and you will never receive more than one announcement per day.

To Unsubscribe from the Listserv

• Go to the Met Section listserv website.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
• Go to the last option box next to the Unsubscribe or edit options button and type in your complete e-mail address.
• Click the Unsubscribe or edit options button. You will be directed to a Member Options page.
• Scroll down to until you see the “Unsubscribe” heading.
• Click the Unsubscribe button.
• A confirmation message will be e-mailed to you, usually within a few minutes. This message will include a link that you should click on to complete the removal process.

To Customize Your Listserv Subscription Options

• Go to the Met Section listserv website.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
• Go to the last option box next to the Unsubscribe or edit options button and type in your complete e-mail address.
• Click the Unsubscribe or edit options button. You will be directed to a Member Options page.
• Go to the first option box above the Log in button, type in your password, and press the Log in button. If you are unsure of your password, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the “Password reminder” heading and press the Remind button to have it e-mailed to you.
• Scroll down towards the bottom of the page to the option box titled “Which topic categories would you like to subscribe to?” Select the technical groups, committees, and branches for which you wish to receive messages (you may select one or more items):

  • CE in Government Group
  • Construction Group
  • Environmental & Marine Committee
  • Forensic Engineering Committee
  • Geotechnical Group
  • Infrastructure Group
  • International Group
  • Legislative Committee
  • Long Island Branch
  • Lower Hudson Valley Branch
  • Structures Group
  • Younger Member Forum
• If you still wish to receive general announcements, such as the Met Section newsletter, go to the next option box titled “Do you want to receive messages that do not match any topic filter?” and select Yes.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the Submit My Changes button.
