 Subscribing to the Met Section listserv is a convenient way for you to have announcements of upcoming lectures, seminars, and other events in the New York City area sent to your email address. This is a moderated, distribution-only list that sends out a limited amount of messages. You can also customize your subscription preferences to only receive announcements for specific technical groups, committees, or branches.

To Subscribe to the Listserv
- Send a blank email message to:

- A confirmation message will be emailed to you, usually within a few minutes. This message will include a link that you must click on to complete the subscription process.
- If you are subscribing using an address at an email provider with a built-in junk mail filter such as AOL, Hotmail, or Yahoo, you should additionally set your spam filter to allow emails from the domain name @lists.asce.org.
To Unsubscribe from the Listserv
- Send a blank email message to:

- A confirmation message will be emailed to you, usually within a few minutes. This message will include a link that you must click on to complete the removal process.
- Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from the Met Section listserv information page.
To Customize Your Listserv Subscription Options
- Go to the Met Section listserv information page.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and type in your subscription email address next to the Unsubscribe or edit options button. After clicking the button, you will be directed to a Member Options page.
- Type in your password and click the Log in button. If you are unsure of your password, click the Remind button to have it emailed to you.
- Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and look for the option box titled "Which topic categories would you like to subscribe to?" Select the categories which you wish to receive messages (you may select one or more items):
