 Subscribing to the Met Section listserv is a convenient way for you to have announcements of upcoming lectures, seminars, and other events in the New York City area sent to your email address. This is a moderated, distribution-only list that sends out a limited amount of messages. You can also customize your subscription preferences to only receive announcements for specific technical groups, committees, or branches.

Below are step-by-step instructions that describe how to subscribe and unsubscribe. To Subscribe to the Listserv

  • You can subscribe using the Met Section listserv information page. Alternatively, you can send a blank email message to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
  • A confirmation message will be emailed to you, usually within a few minutes. This message will include a link that you must click on to complete the subscription process.
  • If you are subscribing using an address at an email provider with a built-in junk mail filter such as AOL, Hotmail, or Yahoo, you should additionally set your spam filter to allow emails from the domain name @lists.asce.org.

To Unsubscribe from the Listserv

  • You can unsubscribe from the Met Section listserv information page. Alternatively, you can send a blank email message to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
  • A confirmation message will be emailed to you, usually within a few minutes. This message will include a link that you must click on to complete the removal process.
