As such, the Met Section will evaluate technical lectures, seminars and other professional activities presented by its groups and members in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Education Department. Engineers Seeking to Attend Approved Continuing Education Courses:Many Met Section approved continuing education courses can be found in the event calendar. Members can also subscribe to the Met Section email list to receive regular announcements of upcoming Met Section events by e-mail. Seminars and technical lectures offering Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for professional engineers are held throughout the year at locations in New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley.
