Moretrench, a leader in the geotechnical construction industry, has announced that it has acquired the assets of Orlando-based geotechnical contractor John N. Puder, Inc., a respected presence in the Central Florida construction community for more than 17 years.
Under the day-to-day management of John Puder, and doing business as John N. Puder, a Division of Moretrench, the Orlando regional office will offer Moretrench's full range of geotechnical design and construction services throughout Florida and Georgia. "We are extremely pleased to be a part of the Moretrench organization, said Puder. "This move allows us to offer owners, engineers and general contractors more cost-saving alternatives in addition to our established piling, grouting and underpinning techniques."
"Moretrench opened its first office in the Tampa area, in 1946 and has been serving Central Florida's phosphate, utility and manufacturing industries for many years," notes Vice President Tom Tuozzolo. "Establishing a Southeast geotechnical division has been a long-term corporate goal that will enhance our local capability and allow us to extend the range of services available to our industrial clients and to Puder's clients, as well as meet the geotechnical construction needs of the southeastern civil and environmental markets as a whole."
