Each year the Met Section awards scholarships to civil engineering students attending colleges and universities in New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley or the children of Met Section members that are enrolled in a civil engineering curriculum. Applications are currently being accepted for the 2011 Met Section scholarship awards.
The Met Section is seeking candidates for $5,000 scholarships that will be given to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students enrolled in a civil engineering program. The Lower Hudson Valley Branch is also seeking candidates for $2,500 scholarships for the pursuit of a career in Civil Engineering. Applications are sought from deserving high school students from Rockland and Westchester counties who intend to pursue a career in civil engineering. |
