ASCE President Andy Herrmann Visits World Trade Center Site Print E-mail
On December 20, 2011, the Met Section had the great privilege of having Andy Herrmann, ASCE's National President as a guest. Along with a visit to the World Trade Center site and a view from the 80th floor of 1 World Trade Center, we had a very pleasant lunch with the Section's Senior Leadership.

The visit was organized by Mark Rusnica, ASCE Region 1 Director and Bernie Yostpille, an ASCE member and engineer at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. We were accompanied by Joe Englot, Met Section President-Elect; Tony Cioffi, Met Section Past-President; Craig Ruyle, Met Section Past-President; Steve Curro, New York State Dormitory Authority Managing Director of Construction; John Pasicznyk, New York State Dormitory Authority Managing Director of Construction and Metro New York Operations; and Tim McGrath, New York Dormitory Authority Director of Construction and Upstate Operations.

The World Trade Center has special meaning to the Met Section and we will always make it a must see destination for any visiting engineer.
