Long Island Branch Celebrates 2011-2012 Achievements Print E-mail
The ASCE Long Island Branch closed the 2011-2012 season with its Annual Awards & Installation Dinner Dance held at Westbury Manor on May 3, 2012. Despite the rain, many fellow engineers attended to recognize the following award winners:

  • Engineer of the Year Award: Jim Hirani, PE, President of The Hirani Group.
  • Frank Patti Award: George Moglia, Jr., P.E., Vice President, Parsons Brinckerhoff
  • Project of the Year Award: Long Island Motor Parkway
    • Owner: Nassau County Department of Public Works

  • Quality of the Life Award: Birches/Continental Villas Subdivision Wastewater Conveyance System
