The 2011 ASCE national election concluded on Friday, August 12. The Tellers Committee convened to verify the election results, which are as follows: President-elect Elect (2011-2012): Gregory E. Memos, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE The membership also approved amendments to the Constitution, Article 11, to (1) clarify the method of notification for Code of Ethics and Bylaws amendments, (2) alter the number of days notice must be given to the Society membership regarding an amendment to the Bylaws, and (3) reduce the number of days between Board meetings before action on a Bylaws amendment may take place.
